Biker encounters tiger near Kaiga

Karwar: A biker encountered a tiger on Friday near Kaiga in the taluk. A tiger was encountered near Bare village on the way from Kaiga to Yellapur. The biker immediately became worried after seeing the tiger. He immediately took a photo on his mobile phone.

The tiger was standing next to the road and ran into the forest as soon as he saw the biker. Tigers are common in the area around Kaiga and tigers have been seen by motorists many times in the past. However, locals informed that there has been no case of a problem with tigers so far.
